I hired Dana Fortier as a VA. She is also a TOTAL scammer. I paid her fee and she just disappeared. NOTHING. I will advise anyone who is looking for a VA to stay far away from Dana Fortier. Its too bad. VA’s could be such a great service and people like Dana Fortier really screw it up for the rest.

I just want to go on record that I work in the same industry as Kim and to my knowledge she is a repritable person in our industry. It is hard to scam someone with the type of work that we do. Kim is one that has helped out many virtual assistants and I feel that you need to make sure that your facts are 100% correct before you post these types of items about people as this is her business, this is what she does for a living (no, not scamming) but assisting realtors and those in our industry. She is not a scam artist to my knowlege.

Shari, no Kim was not contacted before she posted this. She was and is still free to email us if she wants to discuss this further. We’re a blog, a site that’s simply dedicated to getting the views of people out there, reporting bad services, scams and reviewing sites. We in no way shape or form attack or aim at defaming individuals or companies, our soul aim is to enlighten the general public.

This is a public blog, and it’s a free country, people can send in information regarding any site or service, as they do by the dozen a day and we pick something interesting to talk about on our blog from time to time. It’s all about awareness.

If Kim believes the info sent tons, and documentation we have may not hurt her integrity if shared publicly, then she can ask us to clarify WHY we created this post. All she has to do is give us the green right to make what we have in our position public for our readers to judge, and we WILL. Simple as that.

I’m wondering why Kim’s even posting here. I mean, of course she was contacted BEFORE the scam post was written. Watshit wasn’t so irresponsible that they would post a damaging comment about someone without talking to that person first. Right?

I would also like to state that we have received several complaints today about you going off on a spamming rampage, commenting on all the blogs that have posted about the virtual real estate scam issue. They claim you’re copy pasting the same comment about your integrity and how you pioneered this and that, a bit of advice, don’t spam people, they don’t like it.

It seems that your replies on several other blogs seems as if you’re directing your blog posts to us, I’d like to state (for the record) that we are in no way associated with other blogs and that we do not condone your acts of spam in our name or on our behalf, what you do on other blogs is your responsibility and we may not be held responsible for your actions on other peoples blogs.

Scammers really do come in all shapes and sizes. The worst scammers are those you least expect, last year that huge chain of working from home mother forums got sued for scamming it’s users into paying for subscriptions only to offer nothing of what was originally discussed.

Nice blog post! Real Estate Virtual Assistants are on my ‘to keep an eye on’ list now too.
