Blackhat SEO 12
The use of BlackHat Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Techniques is at an all-time high. More and more webmasters are practicing the dark arts of SEO. With Pay Per Click (PPC) being abused by blackhat SEOs, Pay Per Install (PPI) becoming more popular among BHers, and link dropping spreading like a plague, BlackHat SEO is very much alive and seems to be getting stronger. With every push from the Google spam team to stop these acts, more and more techniques come into play in an attempt to outsmart the Search Engines and the users.
Things like the Jessica Alba Sex Tape chain of fake sites trick users into clicking a download link, only to enter their email and make the site owners as much as $2 per lead. Sites like these get thousands of unique hits a day. With BlackHats making this much money per site, it leads us to wonder what regular site and online business owners will do in the future. All that happens to these blackhats is they get de-ranked or banned from Google, but is that enough?
What’s stopping them from spreading on social networks and via email spam?
BlackHats, as we have mentioned before, really do come in many different shapes and sizes. Without knowing it, popular web figures arm blackhats with potentially devastating knowledge. Do they care? Apparently not. ShoeMoney.com a popular SEO related website has in the past been a great aid for the Webmaster community. Then comes the post “How hackers areusing google to ‘pwn’ your site.” Sure, this is not a post telling people to go around and hack their competitors, but what it does, regardless of it’s intentions to spread awareness, is provide BlackHat SEOs/Hackers with another tool they may not have heard of or used. This, in our view, is a very irresponsible post and by showing off as many web figures do these days, Jeremy Schoemaker provided detailed links and the means for potentially troublesome individuals to use and take advantage of.
Not only has Jeremy Schoemaker been linked to a Cookie Stuffing scam executed by seofm.com as well as other related scams (including the ever so popular Fake Auction ads scam), but has, in the past, been accused of working for azoogle. All in all, what we’re trying to get at is BlackHat is a far greater issue than it is believed to be, even those who seem to denounce BlackHat ways seem to be involved some how.
Corruption is a way of life and there is no avoiding it, we just need to figure out a way to control it, and come up with effective measures that should be taken when it comes to penalizing these online criminals.

Marcus Tandlers comments that I somehow granted him the right to cookie stuff via iframe are complete false. I never at anytime granted anyone permission to cookie stuff. We banned John Chow instantly when he made a post on how to cookie stuff auctionads with iframes and anyone else who tried it.
[...] blog post on BlackHat SEO says it all. Watshit is out to make a statement, that whoever you are, using Blackhat techniques [...]
Anonymous weasel? How mature of you. Maybe you should read the blog post again? We in no way attacked you but stated facts, anyone online can get a hold of by searching via Google. We only expect people to search for the facts themselves before doing business online and be aware that not everyone is as genuine as they make out to be.
shoemoney did the whole auctionads thing, i dont know if he was faking the stats by accident or not - at the end it doesnt matter, the show is over anyway and nobody really cares about it. he made some good money, mediawiz has another product in their portfolio and his fanclub something else to stick on their websites.
same with seofm - nobody cares. seriously, nobody. even after people found out that hes cookie stuffing on a ton of sites mostly more cookies (iframes) per site, they still keept holding on his “public statement” that said he did this only on seofm by accident. evidence is worthless and even if not they tend now to accept that fact because (quote) “if the networks dont care who gives a shit?” or (quote) “spam mails are a no go but spamming the google index is totally fine with me”.
those quotes are from die hard whitehats.
as soon as someone famous does it who is a role model the whole community accepts his methods and bad turns into good.
it was a lession for me and it’s a sign for me that i dont have to worry about that stuff because even if i tell the truth or point out some facts…
…nobody cares.

I love this. I don’t agree with nobody cares, it’s just that the minority care, that’s all. With time things will either get better or end up worse. We’ll see, cool post though anyway.
I want to make clear that Shoemoney never granted me the right to cookie stuff in any way. That was just my own stupidity, wanting to give him a clean link while still getting the referrals for the promotion we did for him.
I’m starting to love these blog posts. You guys have proven to be, not only entertaining but Bookmark worthy too.
Lies should be uncovered, the truth told and masks removed, you guys seem to be headed in the right direction.
yeah, i bet all the other iframes were just a cause of your own stupidity too…
who the fuck cares about that fuckin stupid seofm.com naggerads iframe?
forget it, i just shut up. in the future i wont care anymore about all this shit. do whatever you guys want. i will continue ignoring the european market. only idiots in that part of the world anyway. if its about seo and marketing or coding or cutting edge or whatever is internet, only plagiarists and amateurs in this sector over there.
Let’s not go overboard here. Assuming that Shoemoney had any knowledge and gave approval would need some proof, correct?
Association does not make you a partner in the other guy’s sins.
So I seriously despise what has been said about Jeremy here.
Yes, Tandler is a piece of shit, as we all know, but not everyone that has once associated with him is.

A very bookmark worthy site indeed! Thanks for such valuable info
This blog is quite interesting, but since Google is constantly shortening the list of what’s permissible in SEO, I’m going to have to argue that all SEO is BH because Google reps comment that anything we do to intentionally raise our rankings shouldn’t be allowed.
It’s a power thing. Google has gotten huge now and they want to control things. The only way Google wants you to be able to control your ranking is through how much you’re willing to fork out on Adwords.
